Customer 360 Brief
Everything worth knowing about one customer before you call them, on one page: their history and what it earned, what they owe and how they pay, what is open, the office notes that matter quoted, and how they behave - do they cancel, do they reschedule, do they pay late. It never grades anyone.
The problem
The information exists. It is spread across six screens, and nobody opens six screens before a phone call. So the call gets made blind - not knowing they cancelled twice, that the last visit was a return trip, that four hundred dollars is sitting unpaid, or that the office wrote "do not send anyone before 8am, he will not accept a window."
The notes are the part that matters most and the part nobody reads, because they are buried one job at a time.
What it gives you
- One page, read standing up: who they are and the one thing to know first, how to reach them, and any do-not-contact signal quoted up front.
- Money - lifetime, last twelve months, what is open and how old, and how they actually pay.
- The last five jobs with what they were, what they billed, and who went; then the counts behind them.
- The office notes that matter, quoted rather than summarised, because the person who wrote them wrote them for exactly this moment.
- How they behave, each rate with its denominator: cancel rate, reschedule habit, payment behaviour, and return visits shown for you to judge - never labeled callbacks.
- Duplicate records of the same person found and offered as one brief, because a brief built on one of three records is worse than none.
What you need
| Tier | API Key Required |
|---|---|
| Reads | The MCP |
| Needs | The free MCP plus a Housecall Pro MAX-plan API key you generate. A read-only key is enough. |
| Re-run | Before any call that matters. |
Your first ask
Once it is installed, this is the literal thing you type:
What it cannot do
- It never grades a customer. No scores, no letters, no labels - a label written down is a label somebody eventually reads aloud.
- It cannot see Housecall Pro's Do Not Service checkbox; no integration can.
- One customer per run by design. Lists of customers to work through are what the queue skills build.
- Requires the MCP (v1.15 or newer) and a MAX-plan API key. A read-only key is enough.
Updates
Every purchase includes all future updates to this skill. Your book decays continuously, so the same job is worth doing again, and each version gets better at it.
The skill checks this site for a newer version when it runs. That request carries the product name and the installed version, and nothing else. There are no account details, no data from your book, no telemetry of any kind. If the check fails for any reason it says nothing and carries on.
Buying it
Sold in the Run the Day pack: $39 one time at half price while the shelf is new for all 3 skills in it. The pack is the unit because a home service company that needs this one usually needs the rest of it the same week. What is in the pack. Lifetime is $149 and covers every pack on the shelf plus every skill added to any of them afterwards.
Questions about whether this fits a particular book go to hello@hcpapi.com , including the question of whether it is worth buying at all.
