Duplicate Customer Finder
Matches on email, address and phone rather than name, then ranks each group by the money split across it. Leaves the landlords and shared households alone.
The problem
The same customer is in your book two or three times. Their history is split, their lifetime value is understated in every record, and whoever picks up the phone sees a third of the story.
Matching on name finds barely any of it, because the duplicates that matter are the ones where the name was typed differently.
What it gives you
- Duplicate groups matched on email, address and phone rather than name, which finds many times more of them.
- Each group ranked by the money split across it, so you fix the expensive ones first.
- Households, landlords and owners who deliberately keep one record per property, separated out rather than flagged as errors.
- A merge worklist in the order worth working.
What you need
| Tier | No API Key Needed |
|---|---|
| Reads | Customers export |
| Needs | Nothing from us but the skill file. No API key, no server and no account. It reads the CSV you export yourself. |
| Re-run | Twice a year. Duplicates accumulate as fast as you add customers. |
The exports this reads were confirmed present on a MAX-plan dashboard. Housecall Pro decides which exports each plan carries, and that has not been verified below MAX. Check the dashboard for the file named above before buying.
Your first ask
Once it is installed, this is the literal thing you type:
What it cannot do
- It cannot merge anything. Merging is a Housecall Pro interface action, and the identifiers in the export are not the ones the API uses. That is a limit of the export format, not of this tool.
- Deliberate one-record-per-property setups look like duplicates from the outside. It separates what it can and asks about the rest instead of guessing.
Updates
Every purchase includes all future updates to this skill. Your book decays continuously, so the same job is worth doing again, and each version gets better at it.
The skill checks this site for a newer version when it runs. That request carries the product name and the installed version, and nothing else. There are no account details, no data from your book, no telemetry of any kind. If the check fails for any reason it says nothing and carries on.
Buying it
Sold in the Set Up & Clean pack: $49 one time at half price while the shelf is new for all 4 skills in it. The pack is the unit because a home service company that needs this one usually needs the rest of it the same week. What is in the pack. Lifetime is $149 and covers every pack on the shelf plus every skill added to any of them afterwards.
This skill is also in Any Plan ($49), which reads exported files and needs no API key. Either pack includes this skill in full, so there is no reason to buy both for it. Buy both only for the other skills in each.
