Export That Works
Reads the file you already downloaded and tells you what is genuinely in it: real counts, the columns too empty to answer anything, and the quirks that quietly corrupt your totals.
The problem
A Housecall Pro export opened in a spreadsheet often looks off. The row count is higher than the real number of customers. A column you specifically needed is mostly blank. A total does not tie to anything.
None of it is the spreadsheet being wrong. Housecall Pro exports have a handful of habits that corrupt a file quietly, and every one of them looks like user error.

Your first ask
Once it is installed, this is the literal thing you type:
What it cannot do
- It reads the file and never connects to your Housecall Pro account. Nothing you do with it can change anything.
- It cannot recover data nobody entered. If install dates are blank on 99% of your equipment rows, it will tell you that clearly rather than estimate them.
- If your export was filtered on screen, nothing in the file records that. It will report the row count so you can spot it, but it cannot know what was excluded.
Updates
This skill is free, and so is every update to it. The same download link always carries the current version.
The skill checks this site for a newer version when it runs. That request carries the product name and the installed version, and nothing else. There are no account details, no data from your book, no telemetry of any kind. If the check fails for any reason it says nothing and carries on.
