Invoices & Receivables
What you invoiced and what you are still owed, in one ask: bulk pulls that reconcile, statements, honest aging, the invoices nobody ever sent, and a collections worklist where every row links straight into Housecall Pro.
The problem
Two questions share one dataset: what did we invoice, and what of it are we still owed. Housecall Pro shows invoices one at a time and answers neither in bulk - so month-end runs on clicking, and the money you are owed hides in a handful of open invoices scattered across thousands.
And on real books the biggest receivables finding is not aging at all. It is open invoices that were never sent - work done, invoice raised, nobody ever asked.
What it gives you
- Never-sent invoices as their own headline class, with the plain action attached: press send before anyone dials.
- Aging on honest clocks - past-due buckets where a due date exists, age since service for the rest, never a bucket built on an invented date.
- A collections worklist ranked by money where every row links straight to the job and the customer in Housecall Pro, partial payments shown, and do-not-contact signals displayed as context for the caller - a debt call is not marketing contact, so nobody is dropped for a marketing suppression.
- A period reconciled: invoiced, collected and owed with canceled invoices excluded and shown, and the figures that look wrong - each finding class with its own do-not-flag rule.
- Statements: one customer, or the month-end batch for everyone with an open balance.
What you need
| Tier | API Key Required |
|---|---|
| Reads | The MCP |
| Needs | The free MCP plus a Housecall Pro MAX-plan API key you generate. A read-only key is enough. |
| Re-run | Weekly for receivables, month-end for the reconcile. |
Your first ask
Once it is installed, this is the literal thing you type:
What it cannot do
- It cannot see Housecall Pro's Do Not Service checkbox; no integration can. Readable signals appear as context on the worklist, and the checkbox is named above the list as the one thing to glance at in Housecall Pro.
- It cannot send anything, and neither can the API - no route sends an invoice or a statement, and none returns a finished PDF. Delivery happens from Housecall Pro, after you have read the run.
- A service-date window can miss the occasional invoice - Housecall Pro returns invoices in rough invoice-number order, so windows are padded by twelve months and no windowed total is ever called certainly complete. That is a limit of their API, not of this tool.
- Requires the MCP (v1.14 or newer) and a MAX-plan API key. A read-only key is enough.
Updates
Every purchase includes all future updates to this skill. Your book decays continuously, so the same job is worth doing again, and each version gets better at it.
The skill checks this site for a newer version when it runs. That request carries the product name and the installed version, and nothing else. There are no account details, no data from your book, no telemetry of any kind. If the check fails for any reason it says nothing and carries on.
Buying it
Sold in the Quote to Cash pack: $49 one time at half price while the shelf is new for all 3 skills in it. The pack is the unit because a home service company that needs this one usually needs the rest of it the same week. What is in the pack. Lifetime is $149 and covers every pack on the shelf plus every skill added to any of them afterwards.
Questions about whether this fits a particular book go to hello@hcpapi.com , including the question of whether it is worth buying at all.
