Membership Growth
The customers who already behave like plan members and are not on one - repeat work, recent visits, the seasonal pattern that says they are on an annual cycle without the paperwork - ranked by fit, each with the reason to offer in the words you would use on the phone.
The problem
Every plan book has a shadow: the customers who call twice a year, pay on time, and were never asked. They behave exactly like members already - they just do not have the agreement, so the revenue is unpredictable and the relationship is one competitor mailer away.
Nobody finds them by looking, because the question spans two places that do not talk: who holds a plan lives in the agreements export, and who behaves like a member lives in the jobs.
What it gives you
- Candidates ranked by fit, each with the reason to offer in the words you would use on the phone - "three autumn service calls in three years", "two repairs on the same system this year".
- Current members excluded properly, including every agreement row that could not be matched with confidence - a wrongly-included member gets pitched a plan they already pay for, which is the one unforgivable output.
- Lapsed members separated out, because that is a win-back conversation and a different call.
- Anyone who declined before, quoted from your own notes, so you find out before the call rather than during it.
- Customers with a balance kept on their own list - that conversation comes first.
What you need
| Tier | API Key Required |
|---|---|
| Reads | The MCP + your service agreements export |
| Needs | The free MCP plus a Housecall Pro MAX-plan API key you generate. A read-only key is enough. |
| Re-run | Quarterly, and at the start of your season. |
Your first ask
Once it is installed, this is the literal thing you type:
What it cannot do
- Housecall Pro has no public API route for service agreements in any form - a limit of their API, not of this tool - so it needs the CSV export to know who already holds a plan.
- It enrols nobody and creates no agreement. There is no route that could, and the offer is a conversation you have, not a message a tool sends.
- The export carries no plan price, so every value figure comes from the price you tell it and is labelled as arithmetic, never forecast revenue.
- It cannot see Housecall Pro's Do Not Service checkbox; no integration can.
- Requires the MCP (v1.15 or newer), a MAX-plan API key, and your service agreements export. A read-only key is enough.
Updates
Every purchase includes all future updates to this skill. Your book decays continuously, so the same job is worth doing again, and each version gets better at it.
The skill checks this site for a newer version when it runs. That request carries the product name and the installed version, and nothing else. There are no account details, no data from your book, no telemetry of any kind. If the check fails for any reason it says nothing and carries on.
Buying it
Sold in the Service Plans pack: $34 one time at half price while the shelf is new for all 3 skills in it. The pack is the unit because a home service company that needs this one usually needs the rest of it the same week. What is in the pack. Lifetime is $149 and covers every pack on the shelf plus every skill added to any of them afterwards.
Questions about whether this fits a particular book go to hello@hcpapi.com , including the question of whether it is worth buying at all.
