Review Follow-Up
Housecall Pro already asks for the review when you hit finish. This works what that leaves behind: the customers who already reviewed and are still being asked every single job, tagged so it stops, and the ones who never answered, so a second ask can come from a person instead of a system.
The problem
Housecall Pro sends the review request itself, the moment you hit finish, to everyone who does not carry the tag that stops it. So the asking is handled - and two things it leaves behind are not.
The customer who left a five-star review two years ago is still getting a request after every single job, and nobody notices because nothing reports it. And the customer who never responded is never asked again, because the automation fires once and that is that.
What it gives you
- Who has already reviewed you and is still being asked - with how many jobs they have had since, which is the number that gets the tag applied.
- The tag itself, written one confirmed customer at a time, so the automation stops pestering people who already did what you asked. Reversible, and nothing about it reaches the customer.
- Who never responded, ranked by whether a second ask is worth making, with a short note drafted in your voice - from a person this time, not a system.
- Reviewers it could not match to a customer, counted and shown rather than quietly assumed to be nobody.
- Everyone held back from a second ask, and why: unpaid balance, a callback, notes that read unhappy, or a do-not-contact signal.

This one makes changes
Tags customers who already reviewed so the automation stops asking them, one confirmation at a time.
Every change is confirmed individually with the before and after shown. There are no batch approvals, because on a live book that is how a small mistake becomes a large one.
Your first ask
Once it is installed, this is the literal thing you type:
What it cannot do
- Housecall Pro has no public API for reviews in any form, so your review list has to come from you - exported or pasted from the Reviews page.
- It never tags on a guess. A wrongly tagged customer stops getting requests forever and silently, so near matches wait for your ruling.
- It sends nothing. The second ask is a draft you send.
- It cannot tell whether a request was delivered or opened; it infers that one was sent from the job being finished.
- It cannot see Housecall Pro's Do Not Service checkbox; no integration can.
- Requires the MCP (v1.15 or newer) and a MAX-plan API key. Tagging needs a full-access key.
Updates
Every purchase includes all future updates to this skill. Your book decays continuously, so the same job is worth doing again, and each version gets better at it.
The skill checks this site for a newer version when it runs. That request carries the product name and the installed version, and nothing else. There are no account details, no data from your book, no telemetry of any kind. If the check fails for any reason it says nothing and carries on.
Buying it
Sold in the Win More Work pack: $44 one time at half price while the shelf is new for all 3 skills in it. The pack is the unit because a home service company that needs this one usually needs the rest of it the same week. What is in the pack. Lifetime is $149 and covers every pack on the shelf plus every skill added to any of them afterwards.
Questions about whether this fits a particular book go to hello@hcpapi.com , including the question of whether it is worth buying at all.
